In the fall of 2013 I was invited to be an Artist in Residence at S12 Gallery and Workshop in Bergen, Norway. I spent 3 weeks there making new glass records to be shown in their annual show of emerging artists, Young and Loving.
I made several new glass records from 78rpm records with music from Norway and elsewhere in Europe. In Young and Loving they were displayed in shadowboxes on the wall alongside a video of them being played.
Making work in another country was an amazing learning opportunity. I met many amazing artists and learned a lot about my work and my process.
